We all have a dream...

Map of Africa

Heading south, into dark Africa. But how to get there?

A trip like we have in mind is not "Get into your bus and start the engine". Some preparations are not to be forgotten. These include an active planning of what route to take. This route depends on expected weather, terrain difficulty, road conditions, political situation, availability of visa, etc. Roughly we intend something as described below, but of course this will change. Especially on route, when fresh information from fellow travellers and local people might dictate alternatives. Or maybe just when we decide to turn right at the next crossing...
