On this page we describe
some of our preparations. When taking a trip like we will you have to arrange
and prepare a million things. From the obvious, like outfitting your car, to
the tedious, like stopping surface mail filling your mailbox. Some of these
items we share here with you...
One of the most important things
that have to be prepared is our Nomad,
our trustworthy Mercedes 508 bus. This will be our home for many months to
come...

Also not to be neglected is your
health. On these long trips you are exposed to many illnesses most of us have
only seen on television. Although we are fit and prepared, some precautions
have to be taken. Also quite a large collection of first aid supplies find a
place in our truck. These are described here...

Then, one of the more tedious aspects of travelling, the paperwork. Some of it
is described here.
You will be surprised to see how much papers you need to get through customs,
especially with your own car. And make sure not to loose one of these papers!
And keep a (digitally scanned) copy available somewhere!
